TRANSLATION QUALITY ASSURANCE PROCESS – STAGE 2 – DURING THE TRANSLATION PROCESS
We don’t share/split-up documents between different translators unless requested to do so, as this can compromise quality. For the same reason, we prefer not to take on urgent projects. If you require an urgent job, we will therefore discuss this with you first.
For each project we handpick the best possible translation team with the following skills: translation proficiency, translation competence, cultural competence, technical competence, research competence, information acquisition and processing competence.
Once we have brought together the right translation team for you, we follow these three steps:
- Instead of imposing on them our preferred rates we ask them to provide us with a project quotation.
- In consultation with you, we provide them with deadlines they can meet.
- We pay them without undue delay, sometimes with part-payment in advance.
Further quality control
Every translation order comes with free revision or editing by a second native translator, experienced in the appropriate field. Transcreation orders also include revision/editing, along with free proofreading. For further information please take a look at our translation workflow system.
